Via Francigena - Tuscany, Italy

Starting at San Miniato and traveling all the way down to Sienna, this 50-mile hike spanned 5 days and put my group through difficulty after difficulty. This was easily the hardest trip I've taken in my life.

So why did I hike this trail and almost get heat exhaustion, instead of just drive the trail to get these shots?
